Veterans Day Celebration

Lindbergh celebrated Veterans Day on November 11. Mrs. Haynie led an all school assembly to explain the history of Veterans Day, and the importance of recognizing our veterans. Mrs. Haynie told us what each fold of the flag means while Mrs. Emmendorfer and Miss Angel showed us how to properly fold the flag. The names of Lindbergh veterans are proudly displayed in our lunchroom. In our classroom, we spent 2 days reading about, and watching videos on, Veterans Day. Thank you for helping your child write the letter about Veterans Day. The letters were very well written and show a deep understanding of why it is important to recognize our veterans. The letters are displayed in the hallway!
