Info to know...

So far, fourth grade has presented many new (and reprised a few old) responsibilities for our students. They are under a lot of pressure to remember, perform, and rethink. Many have already faced the consequences of faltering in these responsibilities, as well as reaped the rewards of acting in a responsible manner.
Here is a list of responsibilities our fourth graders are facing. As they become more familiar with these duties and establish their own routines to complete them, let's all provide them with as much support as we can muster!

---Friday folders, returned with an appropriate signature
---At Home Reading, also signed, every Monday
---Daily homework assignments
---In-class assignments, completed in a timely manner

Grades are reflective of a combination of in-class work and the daily homework assignments. Remember to sit down with your child each evening to complete these tasks together. Keep in mind that two of the homework assignments will be formally graded, the remaining daily assignments will be used as informal assessment. If homework is not turned in the following day, grades will be affected.

And possibly the most difficult responsibilities for the majority of nine-year-olds to master?
---Steady focus on the task at hand
---Positive and respectful attitudes during all parts of their day

Give your kid a hug today, tell him how proud you are of his growth, then proceed to push for even more.
Have a great weekend and week!

REMINDER:
