Our very own Maurisio and Kiley were ROCKSTARS at their holiday Flyer Choir performance! We are very proud of your courage to perform in front of such a large audience at the mall! Way to go!

Our Christmas party will be on Friday, December 21^st from 2:00-3:00. It is our last day in 2018! 

For this years Christmas party, we will...

*Bring snacks and drinks for themselves

Students are also welcome to bring drinks and/or snacks to share! If your child would like to bring goodies for the class, please be sure to have enough for 23.

Real World Application!

Students often ask, "When will I use this?". NOW! We are applying our math learning to real world problem solving! We used our 2x2 digit strategy to figure out how many items we donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Our attendance was only 94% last week, which means we did not beat our attendance percentage from the previous week. However, we did end the week strong with 100% attendance 2 days in a row! Let's keep it up! Remember, you have to be here to learn!

We Honor Our Veterans

We learned about Veterans Day in an all school assembly and during our ELA lesson on Friday. Thank you to all of our brave and selfless soldiers!

October Character Coins!

Staff have been on the look out for students demonstrating positive character traits, such as; kindness, helpfulness, responsibility, and politeness. When a student was "caught" being a good citizen, they were given a character coin.
Look at all of our AMAZING citizens! October was a great month of growth and kindness in our room. I am so proud of each one of YOU!
Rudy earned the most character coins and will be invited to breakfast with the other top earners in the school.
Look out November! These good citizens are coming for you!

Valentine's Day Time!

Our Valentine’s Day party will be Wednesday, February 14 from 1:30-3:00. Students are encouraged to bring a box or bag to collect their Valentines. Remember, if you send a card or treat for one, you must send something for all! (unless, of course, you send something for your own child). Glass and/or balloons cannot be taken on the bus, so please don’t send those items unless your child has another way to get home.
