September 11th Remembrance

On Friday, we took time to learn about the tragic events that occurred on September 11, 2001. Mrs. Haynie shared some facts about the day with the whole school, and then sang the Star Spangled Banner while patrols raised our flag. We also turned to our local firefighters and thanked them for their commitment to keeping us safe. As a class, we watched a couple of short videos and discussed that sad day in 2001.
